Who is EarthTechling?
We’re not a generalist technology blog, far from it. We are a clever mix of technologist and environmentalists, a journalistic movement with a clearly defined goal of bringing consumers to the intersection of technology and environmental advancement. We do this by elevating stories, thought leaders, and emerging thinkers in an effort to push to the surface the environmentally-focused technologies our readers should be thinking about.
We transcend politics in these efforts because the issues we deal with are too important. This is simply about doing what’s right for the world around us while advancing lives with the brightest, cleanest, and most sound technological advancements.
What is an EarthTechling?
An EarthTechling is someone with a focus on protecting the environment and the world around them while seeing many of the desired environmental advancements coming through innovations in technology. An EarthTechling believes that future achievements in global environmental causes will come through new and innovative technologies, outstretching the need to simply advance at all costs. An EarthTechling believes in tangibly supporting appropriate causes through education, information, volunteerism, donations, and other forms of civil support.
What’s it mean to be part of EarthTechling?
It means that you have a desire to take tangible steps to support the efforts described above. It means that you want to be part of technology advancements, and the reporting and education of such, to help drive these advancements while working to protect the environment. It means you want to support the cause. That you’re part of something bigger than yourself, bigger than this publisher, and as important as most other things out there. That you want to support the continued reporting, writing, and advocacy for technologies that help drive environmental advancement.
